LG Business Solutions (Youngdeungpogu, Seoul, Korea) announced the launch of the LG Transparent OLED digital signage display in the US this week at InfoComm 2019. This razor-thin, see-through display is designed to deliver a unique customer experience in specialized commercial applications, particularly retail and hospitality, according to LG.

With the LG Transparent OLED, watching video on the screen is augmented by seeing objects and images behind the screen. The 55-in. class display (model 55EW5F) delivers LG OLED’s excellent picture quality while maintaining a high transparency, much more than traditional transparent LCD displays, also per the company.

The installation and application versatility of LG Transparent OLED displays is being featured this week at InfoComm. In LG’s booth (West Level 2 – Booth 2525), six transparent displays make up a video wall in a 2 x 3 landscape mode configuration; 2 x 2 portrait mode displays also are being demonstrated. Also on display is a touch version of the 55-in. LG Transparent OLED allowing the user to interact with content on a LG OLED video wall behind the transparent display.
