You’ve Got a Sign in Memphis
A 56-ft.-long, 10-ft.-tall selfie sign promoting the city of Memphis, TN recently made its debut. Located in Mud Island River Park in the city’s downtown, the sign was built from conception to completion by Youngblood Studio, a local arts company. The sign’s lettering weighs 20,000 pounds and is made of carbon steel plates. Youngblood worked with the Memphis River Parks Partnership on the scale and concept of the sign, and collaborated with local engineering firm A2H to flood-, wind- and human-proof the sign.
