3M (St. Paul, MN) announces 3M Envision™ Print Film 48C, the latest of 3M’s films intended to provide versatility of applications while using non-PVC, environmentally friendly materials. Envision Print Film 48C can be applied to windows, walls, signs, partial vehicle graphics and more. This latest sustainable, multi-use film includes companion, non-PVC intermediate overlaminates: 3M Envision Gloss Overlaminate 8048G and 3M Envision Matte Overlaminate 8050M.
Designed for easy installation and removal (even in cold temperatures), Film 48C is the only intermediate, non-PVC film available with 3M Controltac™ Technology for slide, tack and snap-up, and 3M Comply Adhesive for air release. The film’s high tensile strength also keeps it tear-resistant, the company reports. Film 48C offers up to five years of indoor and outdoor expected performance.
