Scotchcal IJ 67 printable with UV-cure, solvent, latex inks, screenprinting

3M™ Corp. (St. Paul, MN) is debuting its Scotchcal™ IJ67 perforated window film for short-term, first-surface installations. The 5.9-mil, removable film contains a pressure-sensitive adhesive and a 40%, die-perforated pattern that allows a full image to be seen outside a window, while allowing vision through retail or vehicle windows. The material contains a polycoated-paper release liner that’s backed with a continuous, paper layer, which, according to the company, allows easier registration on UV-cure-, solvent- and latex-ink printing platforms (the material may also be screenprinted). 3M offers IJ67 in 54-in.-wide, 50-yd.-long rolls; additional roll sizes are available from FDC Graphic Films (South Bend, IN).
