This beloved neon rabbit sign has been beckoning tourists to Steamboat Springs, CO since the early ’50s. The sign was declared a local historic landmark in the early ’80s.

In 2017, ruffians caused about $2,000 in damage to the sign by climbing onto it and pelting the sign with snowballs, per The Steamboat Pilot & Today. The sign has since recovered from its wounds.
