Agfa’s Avinci CX3200

Agfa (Mortsel, Belgium) has introduced the Avinci CX3200, a dye-sublimation, roll-to-roll printer that can print directly to textile or on transfer paper.

The Avinci CX3200 engine enables the creation of textile prints of up to 3.2 m wide at a production speed of up to 270 m²/h. The printer is driven by the company’s Asanti workflow software, which is designed to streamline production to produce color consistency and reduce ink consumption.

The engine uses eco-friendly, odorless, water-based dye-sublimation inks that were developed for outdoor resistance and stable jetting performance. An offline calendering unit is able to fix the colors after printing.

To support the launch, Agfa is hosting a virtual event that will cover the new printer’s key features and benefits, as well as overall market trends. Registration for the event can be found here. Demos (virtual or live) can be booked through Agfa’s local sales organizations.
