Alcan Composites (Mooresville, NC) is announcing its acquisition by Schweiter Technologies, a Swiss company, and the company’s name has changed to 3A Composites. The name was chosen based upon the prior three company monikers: Alcan, Alusuisse and Airex. The company’s product names, which include Alucobond®, Dibond® and Sintra®, among others, will remain the same.
