The American Sign Museum (Cincinnati) has acquired a rare Coca-Cola sign from the former Hob-Nob Coffee Bar in Berkeley, CA. This 6.5 x 25-ft. single-faced tin neon sign features a corrugated face, cut-out letters, and ornamental borders and frame. Sign Museum founder/curator Tod Swormstedt said the sign is an “exquisite example of custom fabrication” and credited sign collector Mike Figone of Figone Construction (Campbell, CA) for donating considerable time and effort into ensuring the sign was shipped safely from California to the museum.
