The American Sign Museum (ASM, Cincinnati) has announced Casey Goldman-Davis as new curator of collections and programming, according to a press release from the museum.

After four years as curator of education at the Dayton Art Institute, Goldman-Davis comes to ASM with over a decade of experience in education and arts administration. In her new role, she will be responsible for the general scholarship, research and conservation of ASM’s permanent collection, while envisioning new interpretative and educational programming. She will also provide oversight and develop new exhibition themes for the current capital campaign and expansion.

“The American Sign Museum is extremely fortunate to have someone of Casey’s talents, experience and knowledge join the team,” ASM Director Cindy Kearns is quoted in the press release. “She comes to the museum at a critical period of growth; her expertise will be vital to telling the rich story of generations of sign makers while, with the current expansion, the museum begins to look to the future, exploring the possibilities of this singular craft.  We look forward to Casey’s guidance and leadership in creating interactive spaces and inclusive programs for all visitors.”
