The International Sign Association (ISA; Alexandria, VA) is now accepting applications for the fourth annual Sign Code Champion award. Upon selection, the winner will receive a trip to Las Vegas for the ISA International Sign Expo 2023, according to a press release from ISA.

The award is given to individuals who go “above and beyond” to positively impact the sign, graphics and visual communications industry. These sign code champions earn the title by improving sign codes and helping local officials understand how visible and effective signs help promote safe and vibrant communities.

Winners of this award will be selected by the ISA Public Affairs committee and ISA staff, and will be given several rewards with a total retail value of $1,750. These include:

  • One round-trip airfare to Las Vegas for ISA Sign Expo 2023
  • One hotel room for three nights during Expo
  • One education package registration to ISA Sign Expo 2023
  • Spotlight in an ISA press release

Applicants will submit entries to be judged on the effectiveness of their efforts and how they further reasonable and beneficial sign codes. Nominations are due March 10, and a winner will be selected in the following 10 days.
