DPF 390 designed for heavy ink saturation, company reports

Arlon (Santa Ana, CA) is debuting DPF 390, a digitally printable, flexible-face, double-sided material. According to the company, its facestock accepts heavy ink saturation, without material stretching, for day/night color consistency. The soft, white, translucent media is designed for backlit signage and awnings, and will illuminate with uniform brightness whether used with fluorescent or LED lighting. The material may be installed within a variety of tensioning systems. DPF 390 may be printed upon with solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV-cure inks, and is available in 164-ft.-long rolls and 42-, 54-, 78-, 102-, 126-, 150- and 196-in. widths.
