Joe Kesterson Signs of the Times November 2010 Issue

Delcam (Windsor, ON, Canada) is offering free demonstrations for the 2010 versions of its ArtCAM Express and Insignia CAD/CAM software. The programs may be downloaded via www.artcam.com/downloads/index.html, or on CD by e-mailing marketing@delcam.com. The programs include such support materials as image galleries, case studies and an instructional overview that addresses 2-D and 3-D modeling and machining of basic designs, shape nesting and V-bit carving. The trial versions are save-disabled, so users can’t produce their own toolpaths or designs, but six sample models are included.
