Trotec Laser Releases Beta Version of New Laser Software Program
Trotec Laser (Plymouth, MI) has announced the open beta version of “Ruby”, the company’s latest laser workflow software.
Ruby provides users with a connected, web-based setup with a new user interface and integrates several editing and design tasks into the software, according to the company. Examples of these tasks include object layers, line widths and text, and multiple design tasks, like adding photos, and adding and editing text elements without the need for additional graphic design software.
Per Trotec, users can distribute jobs to multiple machines from a PC or Mac, and jobs will be loaded onto the laser machine's integrated memory and processed without an additional PC.
