Avery Dennison (Glendale, CA), a global manufacturer of labeling and packaging materials and technologies, has acquired Ink Mill Corporation (Sanbornton, NH), a manufacturer of specialty inks for various inkjet applications. Ink Mill has developed a broad range of innovative products, including solvent-based, UV curable, bio-solvent and wide format inks.

The company’s acquisition by Avery Dennison, a firm comprising more than 25,000 employees and reporting international sales of more than $6 billion in 2015, combines Ink Mill’s digital ink capabilities and technology with Avery Dennison’s portfolio of reflective media products. The Avery Dennison Reflective Solutions division manufactures reflective materials and service solutions for traffic and safety markets.

For Ink Mill’s 26-employee organization, the acquisition will grow opportunities for marketing and expanding its catalog of inkjet products.
