Avery Dennison Graphic Solutions (Mentor, OH) is presenting two perforated window films and three companion overlaminates. MPI 3529, printable with solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV-cure inks, is rated for one-year durability on printed graphics. The 50%-perforated substrate is matte finish, provides a removable adhesive, has opaque/blockout capabilities and is designed for transit or fleet graphics. MPI 3729 is printable with the same inks, has a 40%-perforation pattern, and is intended for POP, tradeshow and other, flat-window projects. Available overlaminates include 1-mil DOL 6560 – Avery’s thinnest to date, the company reports – provides strong scratch resistance and color vibrancy for short-term installations; DOL 6460, a gloss-finish material, offers 4-5 year durability on vertical applications (two years horizontal), and is compatible with MPI 1000, 2000 and 3000 series films. DOL 6960, a 2-mil topcoat, offers enhanced scratch and chemical resistance.
