Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions (Mentor, OH) has launched the Auravate Decorative Window Film Series for residential and commercial applications, according to a press release.

A cost-effective, retrofit solution for glass windows, doors, showers, partitions and more, the series includes seven films: Ash Linen, Blue Sandstone, Dual Vapor Gradient, Fluted Deco, Oak Frost, River Waters and Sandstone. The films come in various frost, tint and design patterns to add privacy to a room while still allowing for natural light. All of the films are suitable for interior installation, with the Oak Frost and Sandstone finishes offering the option for exterior installation. The Blue Sandstone, Dual Vapor Gradient, Ash Linen and Fluted Deco films were designed with non-PVC construction, according to the release.

“Our new Auravate Decorative Film Series offers architects and designers an attractive, sustainable, retrofit solution to modernize existing glass in residential or commercial spaces while also being cost effective,” Cassandra Yu, Avery Dennison’s segment lead for architecture building and construction, is quoted in the press release. “The films not only will rejuvenate the appearance of a space, but they can help to enhance the property value. The retrofit solution is particularly advantageous today, in light of product availability issues with new glass doors and windows.”

The films will be sold through traditional signage graphics channels.
