Banner American Products Inc. (Temecula, CA) is presenting its redesigned 2700HC laminating, encapsulation and mounting machine that processes digital and offset prints up to 26 in. wide. It features hot or pressure lamination with dual, heated rollers, release liner take-up and ¼-in.-thick, mounting capability. The equipment includes 1-in.-diameter supply mandrels plus 3-in. core adapters that accommodate thermal or pressure-sensitive films. The 2700HC’s heat-assist mode delivers ideal heat for increasing initial adhesion and the clarity to slow-cure pressure-sensitive films, which decreases the time required to produce display-ready materials, the company reports. The machine operates on a 120V electrical circuit.
