Outdoor-equipment retailer Bass Pro Shops and bass-boat manufacturer Nitro co-sponsor the Nitro professional-bass-fishing tournament. For those who think of fishing as a quiet, lazy endeavor, these graphics, part of a 12-boat, three-truck wrap package, quickly cast aside that notion.
Media1’s crew fine-tuned the wrap’s graphics with Photoshop and Onyx’s PosterShop RIP, and output the graphics on 3M’s Controltac with Comply film on its Mutoh Toucan LT wide-format printer. Gloss-finish, 8518 overlaminate seals the graphics, and 3M’s Gold squeegees, vinyl rollers and Primer 94 adhesion promoter helped the installation crew easily reel in the job.

Perhaps Oscher owns a fleet of boats that includes a twin, “Serene Agony.” Media 1/Wrap This hit double paydirt in this category by wrapping the 32-ft., Fountain racing boat with tools, equipment and materials similar to the Nitro bass boat.

Arizona Color took its branding to the water (people might think of Arizona and bodies of water as contradictory, but Lake Havasu is a popular Grand Canyon State playground that provides a high concentration of would-be customers. Arizona Color decorated its shop boat with 3M Controltac with Comply film that’s printed on its Mimaki JV 3-160SP solvent-ink printer and protected with a glossy topcoat.
