To entice passersby to a booming retail area, DCL partnered with RSM to create programmable electronic pylons that alternate colors throughout the day. Constructed of ½-in. laminated glass with a five-layer diffuser between the panes, the pylons use an RGB lattice lighting system from Bitro Group, color controlled to 3000K warm white. Each pylon consists of a system of individual glass panels, fine-tuned via an internal structure using brackets adjustable in five directions. DCL assembled the pylons in three sections using a low-profile Spydercrane and smaller machinery to avoid nearby power lines.
