Burkhart Sign Systems (South Bend, IN) has rebranded, and going forward will be named Hayes Design Co., according to a statement from Edward Hayes, president of Hayes Design Co.

Burkhart Sign Systems, a 55-year-old company that found success in its family legacy, was acquired by Hayes in 2021. Hayes Design Co. is working with marketing agency J2 Marketing to execute the rebrand, per the statement.

“We’re so excited to provide high-quality service guided by our company values: design, expression, selflessness, imagination, genuineness and noteworthiness,” Edward Hayes, president of Hayes Design, is quoted in the statement.

“But more than that, we’re thrilled to grow our family of clients,” he added. “We truly believe that signage is more than just an identifier; it ties directly into experiential branding. We are putting a strong emphasis on customizing our process for each client and delving into facade architecture to build a cohesive experience.”

The name change is going into effect immediately, while the rebrand and website will change to reflect the new direction in the following months.
