Coastal Enterprises (Orange, CA) is introducing an updated formulation of PrecisionBoard Plus high-density urethane (HDU), which includes 23.9% recycled content. According to the company, the new-generation HDU also incorporates a tighter cell structure, which reduces chips and dust production when cutting and machining the substrate. Coastal Enterprises offers the material in densities up to 60 lb., and in seven sheet sizes up to 24 in. thick. The company also provides in-house bonding of larger sheets and carving blocks.
