7 is National Burrito Day, so consider springing for a lunch of everyone’s favorite chicken, beef, bean or grande burritos from your go-to local Mexican restaurant or food truck. When you pick them up, you can ask about any promotional signage needs they may have coming up.

13 On the subject of lunch, APRIL 13 is National Make Lunch Count Day, created by TGI Friday’s to get employees to get over their fear of lunching out (FOLO). Per TGIFs, 73% of workers eat lunch at their desk at least twice a week while a third do so every day.

23 is World Book Day, so if, if there’s still a bookstore near you, they may be planning an event. It’s also the birthday of William Shakespeare, so on this of all days, it shouldn’t be a matter of “to read or not to read,” but rather “what to read?” Now that is the question.

30 A great cause is set for APRIL 30 with National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day. The name says it all, and while one good thing about the pandemic has been an increase in pet adoptions, there are still usually several rescues at your local shelter looking for a good home.
