Roughly a year after lighting up the 2008 All Points West Music and Arts Festival at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, N.J., Daktronics (Brookings, SD) and Upstage Video, a provider of large-scale, portable videoscreens, will return for the festival’s 2009 encore, July 31 to August 2, with a set of PST-12HD modular video displays that will bring live video to the main stage.

The modular displays, which each measure 18 x 32 ft., will show colorful crowd prompts, sponsor advertisements and live concert footage throughout the weekend as several of the biggest names in music, including Coldplay, Jay-Z and My Bloody Valentine. The event will take the stage before tens of thousands of fans from July 31-Aug. 2.

Additional displays, including a 9 x 16-ft. PST-12HD display at the event entrance and a 9 x 16-ft. mobile Daktronics LED display unit, will be used to welcome guests and provide festival information to attendees.

PST-12HD panels use a unique staggered pixel layout to offer ultra-wide viewing angles to optimize outdoor visibility, premium image contrast and high brightness. A modular, building-block platform allows users to combine individual panels together to form massive displays in a matter of minutes.
