SkinzWraps tricks out a Sprinter van to promote Jesse James

Published

Jesse James and his custom-bike production outfit, West Coast Choppers, have transcended their niche and become pop-culture icon. West Coast Choppers has become the focus of several TV shows, and James’ celebrity caché has made him the focus of a new unscripted show on Spike TV, Jesse James is a Dead Man, which feature him participating in extreme sports and various, death-defying feats.

To bolster the show’s street cred, James enlisted Dallas-based SkinzWraps to create a fierce Dodge Sprinter wrap. The shop designed the graphics, which include the West Coast Choppers’ web address and the logo for James’ production company Pay Up Sucker, with Adobe’s Photoshop® and Illustrator® programs.

To output the graphics, SkinzWraps used Avery Dennison Graphics & Reflective Products Div.MPI 1005 Easy Apply RS cast, air-egress film and DOL 1060 gloss-finish overlaminate, which it produced on an Epson America Stylus® Pro GS 6000 solvent-ink printer. Installers applied the wrap at James' Los Angeles shop.
