Wall mural promotes exhibit

The large-scale, color wall mural featured here, plus five banners were displayed by the pARTS Photographic Arts gallery (Minneapolis) to promote its contemporary Cuban photography exhibit from Sept. 8-Nov. 12.

Designed and donated by Martin/ Williams Advertising (also of Minneapolis), the wall mural measured 30 x 38 ft. and was visible for six city blocks. The banners measured 48 in. x 13 ft. and 54 in. x 38 ft.

Blaine, MN-based Visual Impact, a print shop that specializes in panoramic imaging, produced the mural and banners using NUR Media Solutions consumables (donated by Nur America Inc., Newton, MA) and the NUR Blueboard HiQ+ digital-printing system.NUR America Inc.

The specialty shop printed the wall mural in two pieces onto 14-oz. NURFLEX Frontlit media, applied nylon webbing to the parts' perimeter and then welded the pieces together. Visual Impact produced the gallery's soft signs for half price.
