Dongle Security Box

A replacement dongle could require the purchase of new software.

DongleLockbox Co. (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) has announced its Dongle Lockbox, a combination-lock style security device that helps protect USB-type software dongles. The company cautions that today’s desktop and laptop computers routinely comprise external USB ports and this makes attached, software dongles more susceptible to theft, loss and damage, especially when employed in remote locations. A replacement dongle could require the purchase of new software.
You can attach the dongle-holding Lockbox to any secure device; a joined, six-ft.-long, USB 2.0 cable allows you to connect to a computer.
