Drytac (Richmond, VA) is announcing its Artsafe™ 200 acid-free, mounting tissue for giclee printers, posters and other high-end graphics. According to the company, age-simulations testing demonstrates the materials withstand 200 years without degradation. The preservative features a low activation temperature, 155 to 165 ° F, which helps preserve fragile items. A carrier-release paper accompany Artsafe 200, which can be used for small and large prints. A single-sided version is also available as a heat-set, repair tissue.
