Drytac Rolls Out New Media for North American Market

Polar Premium Clear and Weathershield are now available globally.

Drytac (Bristol, UK), a manufacturer of adhesive-coated products, has announced the global availability of its Polar Premium Clear polymeric PVC ink-jet media and Weathershield polymeric PVC overlaminating film.

Polar Premium Clear is a 3.2 mil (80 micron) phthalate-free printable polymeric solvent PVC film with a clear adhesive. Compatible with solvent, eco-solvent, UV and latex technologies, it was developed for long-term indoor and outdoor applications such as general signage, window graphics, event graphics and POS displays. It can also be used for applying vehicle graphics onto flat or slightly curved surfaces.

Weathershield UV overlaminates are 3.2 mil (80 micron) clear polymeric gloss or matte PVC laminating films that can be used in various applications including general signage, window graphics, event graphics and POS displays. Weathershield can pair with any Drytac polymeric PVC film, including Polar Premium Clear, to increase the weather resistance of graphics.

Both products offer seven-year durability, the company said in a release.
