EFI Lifts Curtain on New Pro 30h Printer

Entry-level solution joins UV LED portfolio.

Electronics for Imaging (Fremont, CA) recently debuted its Pro 30h hybrid flatbed/roll-fed, entry-level production printer at the virtual.drupa online tradeshow.

The new printer was developed to give users broader application capability and versatility in wide-format work. Measuring 126 in. wide, the Pro 30h is intended for commercial print shops, signshops and in-plant print departments looking to start, upgrade or add board and roll-to-roll print jobs to their wide-format capabilities.

The printer comes standard with two channels of white and optional clear ink for high-value prints with high gloss images, special effects and multi-layer printing.

The Pro 30h also features continuous board printing capability, a standard feature that allows users to maximize the printer’s full production speeds with large boards or multiple small boards simultaneously. Speeds measure up to 2,477 sq. ft./hr.
