Encore Products (Statesville, NC) is introducing two foamcore-board products:
• MightyCore®, which offers an ultra-smooth surface that reportedly provides excellent ink coverage and adherence for printing while its rigid polystyrene core is an upgrade from regular foam board. According to the company, MightyCore is ideal for mounting graphics and digital printing to create signs, POP displays and exhibits. The company offers the material in white and black in 3/16-, ¼- and ½-in.-thick panels along with several variations and sizes;
• PilloCore®, a foam-centered material that’s formulated to be crushable so when die-cut all edges stay tightly compressed to create a “pillowing” effect. Encore recommends it for die-cutting, embossing or debossing to add dimension and special effects to POP displays and signs.
