Epson to Release Five New SureColor Printers

Latest models feature higher speeds, compact designs.

In an effort to tap into the market for high-productivity photo, graphic art and technical printing, Epson (Los Alamitos, CA) is rolling out a new generation of production-class SureColor P-Series photo printers and SureColor T-Series technical printers.

The SureColor P-Series 24- and 44-inch models and SureColor T-Series 24-, 36- and 44-in. models are slated for launch later this year with the SureColor P8570D and SureColor T7770D 44-in. dual-roll printers available first.

The new series includes Epson’s latest 2.64-in. PrecisionCore printhead, which provides for higher-speed performance than previous generation models. Additional features include dual roll capability, built-in take-up reel for roll-to-roll printing, complete front operation, automatic roll loading, and optional, foldable production stackers.

The SureColor P-Series — designed for photo fulfillment, retail photo labs, and poster and graphic art production — provides production-level print speeds in a compact design.

The SureColor T-Series technical printers, intended for CAD and graphics applications, incorporate various new features that aim to improve usability and streamline workflow.
