Everbrite Announces Closure of LaCrosse Plant

Neon-sign production facility’s shutdown will displace approximately 40 workers

According to the Green Bay Press Gazette, Everbrite (Greenfield, WI), a producer of electric signs, menuboards and electronic displays, will be closing its LaCrosse plant, which primarily produces neon signs for beer producers, on February 4. According to the company, increased competition and the proliferation of other advertising venues led the company to consolidate its operations and eliminate the plant and roughly 40 jobs.
