Grant Freking Signs of the Times September 2017 Issue

FAB13, or the 13th International Fab Lab meeting, was recently held in Santiago, Chile. The event united more than 1,000 Fab Labs from around the globe working in digital manufacturing, innovation and technology. (A Fab Lab is a workshop offering digital fabrication and analog tools to entrepreneurs and other makers creating custom products.) The gathering featured presentations by thought leaders, hands-on workshops and demonstrations of digital fabrication revolving around a theme of “Fabricating Society.”
