FDC Graphic Films Announces New High Bake Paint Mask Film

Lumina by FDC Series 2909 is designed for high-temperature bake cycles.

FDC Graphic Films (South Bend, IN) has launched the new Lumina by FDC 2909 High Bake Paint Mask Film, according to a press release.

The 3.4 mil matte yellow vinyl film is designed for applications that require bake cycles up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit for up to 30 minutes, including airplane and automobile components, according to the release. The series comes in rolls of 15, 24, 30, 48 or 60 in. by 10 or 50 yd.

“Series 2909 rounds out our offering that addresses opportunities in the marketplace,” FDC Product Manager Eric Norby is quoted in the release. “We are excited to provide our customers with an addition that meets their specific needs for high-temperature paint masking applications.”
