Two new fabrics for dye-sublimation and UV printing

Fisher Textiles (Indian Trail, NC) has added two fabrics to its dye-sublimation and UV-printing media lines. The 1010 Element is a polyester, awning fabric that is 8.5 oz. per sq. yd. and has been tested in accordance with AATCC test methods for repellency with excellent results, the company reports. Another product, the GF 7110 X-Out, 6.7 oz. per sq. yd., is 110 in. wide and suitable for sublimation printing. The fabric has a polyester base with viscose/rayon flocking, and is formaldehyde free, the company reports. It is designed for block-out liner and opaque, single-sided banners. Samples are available upon request.
