Summa (Seattle) recently announced its F1612 cutting table that s designed to cut rigid, sheet and roll stock materials. The cutter’s multifunctional head stores up to three modules; the cutter also features a positioning laser, a camera-based registration system, media-advance clamps, automatic tool recognition, digital and mechanical depth and pressure controls, a drag-knife module, and a camera marker-recognition system.

Océ
Océ’s (Chicago) ProCut flatbed cutters, offered in nine sizes that range from 52 x 98 in. to 128 x 125 in., feature both universal and routing-tool modules. The ProCut series will process materials up to 2.3 in. thick. Océ lists its general-use applications as POS/POP, banners, floor graphics, labels, rigid signs, window decals, car decals, posters, packaging prototypes and 3D displays.

Mimaki
Mimaki’s (Suwanee, GA) CF2-TD/RC series cutters — the CF20912, CF2-1215 and CF2-1218 — offer swivel-, tangential- and reciprocal-cutting systems, in 20-400, 300-1,500 and 1,000-5,000 gram systems respectively. Mimaki said the machines cut such materials as signboards, corrugated paper and plastic boards, sandblast rubber and industrial (sandblast type) sheeting.
