France Announces LED Driver

Designed to not shut down in extreme heat

France (Fairview, TN) is introducing its LED-1260PS, a 12VDC, 5-amp LED driver with 120/277V input for wet, damp or dry locations. It operates reliably into a full 60- watt load from -40° C to 60° C, with no need to derate it by 5-10%, the company states. If an overload or high-temperature conditions occur, the unit will automatically adjust the LED load to maintain consistent light without causing a shutdown or diode blinking, the company adds. It also incorporates a unique indicator light, which will signal if a load is becoming excessive, to eliminate guesswork.
