General Formulations Diverted 2.6M lbs. of Scrap in ‘24

Through initiatives, the company hopes to have a larger impact in 2025.

General Formulations (Sparta, MI) recently announced that the company kept 2,657,958 lbs. of scrap materials out of landfills in 2024, according to an email.

“By prioritizing innovative recycling programs and sustainable practices, we’re working to create a better future for our planet,” reads a portion of the email.

“This milestone is a testament to what’s possible when we prioritize sustainability and work together to make a difference,” Dan Collins, VP of purchasing and production for General Formulations, is quoted in the email. “Sustainability is a journey we’re committed to, and this milestone is just the beginning.”

The milestone reflects the collective effort of the General Formulations team, partners and customers who share the company’s vision for a cleaner, greener world, also per the email.
