GMG (Tuebingen, Germany) has introduced its ColorBook management system, a sales tool that enables printers to demonstrate results in digital printing before an order is placed.

Licensed by Pantone, ColorBook was developed to simulate Pantone and custom brand colors based on a set of print conditions. It is available as an option within GMG ColorServer and OpenColor, appearing as a single additional button in the user interface.

“In short, GMG ColorBook shows the actual end result because ColorBook is produced under production conditions, on the same press, using the same inks and on the production substrate,” said Peter Schöffler, product manager, GMG.
