The International Sign Contest deadline approaches

I hope all of you had an enjoyable holiday season. Alas, now it’s back to the grind. And, with the calendar’s turn to January, entering our International Sign Contest accompanies the goal-setting and resolution-making as an early-year fixture.
The deadline soon approaches on Wednesday, January 27 (it’s been extended from the original January 20 end date). Our 10 categories embody the sign industry’s broad swath (except vehicle graphics, which have their own competition). They include:
• Sign Systems (three or more signs that are part of a single program, and may include electric and non-electric signs together)
• Commercial Monument Signs (horizontally oriented, main-entry signs, typically with a masonry base)
• Electric Monument Signs (internally illuminated counterparts to the above signs)
• Banners/Murals/Exhibit Graphics (a broad category that includes digitally printed or handpainted wall murals (even mosaic-tile murals have won in the past), banners, wallcoverings, museum-exhibit graphics, tradeshow graphics and related applications)
• Commercial Freestanding Signs (non-illuminated, ground-mounted signs)
• Electric Freestanding Signs (illuminated, ground-mounted signs)
• Commercial Building Signs (non-illuminated, building-mounted signs)
• Electric Building Signs (illuminated, building-mounted signs)
• Electronic Message Centers (dynamic electronic displays)
• Unique Signs (any sign that, through materials, subject matter or installation, stretches the definition and function of signage)

The entry fee is $10 apiece, or $75 for up to 30 entries.
The entry form is linked here: https://form.jotform.com/53153908321956
It allows the user to submit up to 12 entries at once, and upload photos directly onto the form. When you complete the first entry, the form will ask if you have another. If you do, click “Yes” and another blank form will open, and repeat until you reach 12.
If you wish to submit more than 12 projects, you can simply fill out a new form, and, when the form asks if this is a continuation of a previous entry, click “Yes”, and you won’t be subject to a second charge.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me at (513) 263-9308 or steve.aust@stmediagroup.com. Good luck! As Ed McMahon used to say, you can’t win if you don’t enter!
