This fantastic design by Jason Nale, Nazareth Signs (Nazareth, PA), went viral on ST’s Facebook, collecting more than 12,000 views.

THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY of the Letterheads was held June 20-22 at the American Sign Museum (ASM, Cincinnati), the site of the group’s 40th anniversary and of many permanent contributions from Letterhead members — hundreds of sign artists from around the world swore (literally, to an oath!) to keep alive the styles and crafts of classic signpainting. Signs of the Times spent three days and one night at the museum to capture the spirit, creativity and excellence of the signwork produced.

Last month, I promised more pictures of signs and here’s my chance to put up so I don’t have to shut up! Following is a brief gallery of some of the works in progress and on display. For 29 (more) brushes with the Letterheads’ 50th anniversary, see signsofthetimes.com/082508.
