Producing 50, 4 x 8-ft. JetMount foamboards with hi-res images is a tall order. What about in two weeks, including installation time?

Christian Beebe, Cincinnati Sign Co. president, was up for it. The city’s School for Creative and Performing Arts first wanted to spruce up its interior before the academic year with banners of past and present students. Beebe convinced them to use the boards instead of sagging banners.

The 50 images were printed in two days on a MacDermid ColorSpan 9840, and screwed in the school walls.

“The school was thrilled,” Beebe said. He added, by using the large-format printer and switching substrates, “we saved ourselves easily a week’s worth of production hassles, if not more, not to mention the material savings.”
