Have Your Say: ST Announces 2013 Sign Contest Readers’ Choice Awards

We’ve proudly published sign contests for more than 30 years. For the first time, we’re including a “Readers’ Choice” Award along with the traditional contest spread (the 2013 International Sign Contest edition will appear in the April issue). The judges who evaluated the competition selected what they deemed the 20 best overall entries – 10 electric, 10 commercial — from the at-large contest field (most won awards in the judged competition, but a few didn’t). We will present them as two separate surveys – one electric, one commercial – which will be linked through www.signweb.com and ask viewers to select their top three from each field. These top six will be elevated to the championship round, and will be published in a supplemental contest spread, as well as online.
The first round of judging began on January 28, and will continue until February 8. The final round’s voting will begin on February 13, and continue until February 22.
