In Russia, Billboard Drives You!

BMW’s Moscow billboard is one of the world’s largest signs.

It’s absurdly big. It sports several of the finest vehicles in the world. It looks like something out of a sci-fi movie.

BMW has created a billboard in Moscow reported to be more than 65,000 sq.-ft. (or 1.5 acres!) in size. The enormous sign, built around Hotel Russia, is roomy enough to fit several M series vehicles as they “race” above the Moscow River (note the Kremlin in the background). The cars are made from parts of actual M3, M5, M6 and Z4 M coupe models and have working headlights and taillights that turn on at dusk. The bodies and wheels are also BMW originals, but no engines, so forget about renting a crane and plucking a brand-new for yourself Beemer off the sign.
