The International Sign Association (ISA; Alexandria, VA) announced that ISA has joined the US Chamber of Commerce and other entities in a letter to Congress regarding employer liability protections.

According to ISA, some news reports have indicated that Congress may not include liability protections in the next round of coronavirus stimulus. Such actions, the letter stated, could “deter entities from reopening and could ultimately cripple businesses, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations both large and small.” Liability protections – preventing COVID-19-related lawsuits brought by employees – was expected to be included in the next round of stimulus, but has not been part of recent discussions.
