8 the first Tuesday in October, is National Fruit at Work Day. Many of us don’t eat enough fresh fruit, so here’s a chance to bring an apple or banana for your lunch, or to spring for a fresh-fruit medley for everyone in the office and shop. Good and good for you!

21 National Clean Your Virtual Desktop Day, which takes place on the third Monday of the month, OCTOBER 21, marks the opportunity for everyone to quit putting it off and take time to organize their virtual desktop. Move those cluttered files to their rightful folders; you’ll be glad.
