Kroy Sign Systems (Scottsdale, AZ), a manufacturer of interior architectural signage for new construction, renovation and building code compliance, is observing its 35th anniversary. Initially a division of Kroy Inc., a manufacturer of thermal labeling machines distributed worldwide by office products, reprographics and art materials dealers, Kroy’s sign division joined the architectural signage market in 1983 by merging its labeling system technology with architectural sign designs. After the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Kroy worked to develop and distribute ADA signage. According to Kroy, the average tenure of its 20-plus employees is 15 years.
