Light Engines LLC (Sturbridge, MA) is presenting three light engines: 540lm, 2 x 12; 270lm 1 x 12; and the 135lm 1 x 6 packages. Its library of patented, primary micro-optic and packaging technologies ensure maximum light extraction from carefully selected chips, the company states. The heat-management IP helps maintain high reliability. Light engines can be mounted on only one side for smaller cabinets. Benefits include low watts per square foot of sign face and power neutrality, which allows the user to choose any brand of voltage-driven power supplies available in 24VDC. Available color temperatures are 8,300, 6,500 and 5,700K. Red, blue, green and amber are offered in the 2 12 engine for color-band-type applications.
