MACtac (Stow, OH) has introduced an Open-Image Warranty™, which covers any combination of printer and ink used with MACtac’s graphic media.

Product lines under the Open-Image Warranty include: IMAGin® digital media, Permacolor® mounting and laminating films, MACmark® cut-vinyl films and MACscreen® screen-printable films. MACtac also has application-specific warranties for floor and vehicle graphics, as well as joint warranties with ink and printer suppliers.

The warranty can cover more than previously endorsed systems. Customers can provide a sample of their system for MACtac to test. It the combination works, the warranty covers it.
