Mama Says, Eat!

Mama always said you’d feel better if you ate something. According to its website, “Mama” Kim Cooks provides gourmet fare for gatherings of up to 300. The owner, “Mama” Kim Scott, enlisted Ferrari Color’s Salt Lake City and Sacramento branches to outfit its catering truck with colorful, but simple, graphics.

The vehicle graphics, which were designed by Nate Milhous, were produced with 3M IJ180-10C Controltac with Comply air-release material for the main wrap, and 3M repositionable vinyl for the white lettering. The printed graphics were created on a Durst Rho 160 UV-curable-ink, roll-to-roll printer, and a Summa S160 cutting plotter yielded the cut-vinyl components.

The Sacramento branch installed the graphics. The intricate curves and vents on the approximately 500-sq.-ft. wrap proved challenging with the numerous curves and vents, but the vivid graphics transformed the truck from bare to beautiful.
